One tradition on the fourth is to slip 'n slide. At this point the adults do a little more sliding than the the kids. I am sure that one day the kids will be old enough to really enjoy it. For now, it is the adults that get to have fun and act like kids. This time just my brother, Toby, brother-in-law, Kurt, and myself were the only ones sliding. Although my sister, Tina, who is 8 months pregnant tried a little sliding on her knees. We tried something new and put a blow up water slide (from the kiddie pool) under the slip 'n slide. Boy did we have fun. I am surprised that there were no major injuries.
