All of the scouts in our ward went to scout camp in the Uintas. They backpacked in, I think 6 miles, and then set up base camp. Their objective was to all hike King's Peak, which is the highest point in Utah.
It was a tough hike, especially for some of the new deacons. They all eventually made it to base camp that first night. Most of them were able to make it all the way to the top of King's Peak. It was a great success and a great learning experience for them all!
